As of now, I only have two. The first one is of me at one of the tubing bars in Vang Vien swinging about like a drunken monkey that can’t quite find his footing. The second is of two kids play fighting aside a temple overlooking Luang Prabang and the Mekong river.

Note that the boy in ‘Kung Fu Kiddies’ clip has pink nail polish on his finger and toe nails, and is well on his way to being a full grown Lady-boy. Lady-boys are an incredably prevalent phenomenon here across much of SE Asia, as well as the widespread open bisexuality among the men. These are induced (as well as the huge prostitution market), in my opinion, by the extreme sexual repression of women, in which their respective societies demand that they remain ‘pure’ until marriage. These are very important issues but probably best left to another entry…
I also tried to add another video of Connie and I scarfing down spiders in Phnom Penh, but unfortunately the file size exceeds the space maximum for youtube. To give you an idea though, after we split the central part of the spider, and Connie with a look of grimace on her face points out all the eggs inside, we kick that bad boy back. After a winey jumping up and down fit like a child throwing a tantrun, I calm down and say how the taste isn’t that bad, how its kinda good, and then I conclude its even downright tasty. A second later I throw it all up, and say that I guess I didn’t really like it that much after all; Connie shows me up and keeps munchin’ on, inbetween much laughter.

With all future video uploads that I make, I will either make note of it in an entry, or if it won’t slow down the page loading time too much, weave it in throughout the entries.
